The minister of Industry, Mikel Jauregi, visits Danobatgroup

Mikel Jauregi, Minister of Industry, Energy, and Sustainability of the Basque Government, Jaione Ganzarain, Deputy Minister of Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, Andoitz Korta, Deputy Minister of Industry, and Aitor Urzelai, Director of the SPRI Group, visited Danobatgroup as part of a day organized by AFM Cluster (Spanish Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers, Accessories, Components, and Tools), with the aim of bringing them closer to the machine tool and advanced manufacturing sector.

During the visit, they were able to delve into the activities of the group's main companies: Soraluce, Goimek, and Danobat. They also had the opportunity to visit the Danobat facilities in Elgoibar and see firsthand the work of Danobatgroup's technological partner, Ideko.

"The machine tool and advanced manufacturing sector is a great example of how Euskadi can be at the forefront of reindustrialization in Europe. Nearly three-quarters of the machine tool business turnover in the country, 72%, is generated in Euskadi, which shows that we are a small country with a high-potential industry," said Minister Mikel Jauregi.
