People are the key to who we are and what we do
Our greatest asset is our people, and they are at the centre of our socio-business project. We empower each individual through our unique work philosophy, and our commitment to strategic talent management ensures that everyone can unlock their potential, fulfil their aspirations, and achieve their goals.
Our dedication extends to continuous learning and professional development throughout their careers.

CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT
We are committed to the climate and the environment
At Danobatgroup, we want to decouple our carbon footprint from our economic growth, while safeguarding and preserving the environment in which we live. This is an ambitious endeavour, one that unfolds over the long term but mandates immediate action.
What actions are we taking?
-
ISO CERTIFICATION: 14001 and 50001
Our main companies have an Environmental Management System (EMS) certified in accordance with ISO 14001. At Danobat, this system is complemented by the Energy Management System, certified in accordance with ISO 50001.
-
Zero Zabor Project
We've launched the Zero Zabor Project, focused on selective waste collection and enhancing recycling rates. This initiative extends beyond industrial waste and includes urban waste, resulting from daily activities of the workers.
-
Reducing the environmental footprint of our products
This encompasses energy reduction systems, optimised resource consumption, and the use of eco-friendly materials, among many others.
ISO 14006 certificate in ecodesign
Soraluce has been certified in eco-design certificate for over a decade, with more than 27 machine models currently holding this certification.
-
Reducing energy consumption and energy efficiency in installations
We have reduced energy consumption and enhanced energy efficiency across our facilities through comprehensive reforms. This includes improvements to building insulation, LED lighting, monitoring of energy consumption, monitoring and control of lighting, heating and air conditioning systems, etc.
Promoting energy self-sufficiency
We have installed more than 4.160 photovoltaic panels at most of our sites, with plans for further expansion both at our local and international facilities.
Raw material
Action is being taken to reduce raw material consumption, such as the adoption of minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) at Goimek instead of traditional coolants.
“Leadership in energy & environmental design” Certificate
Since 2023, Soraluce has been LEED certified in one of its manufacturing plants.
-
Measuring and reducing our carbon footprint
We have been measuring Scope 1 and 2 of our carbon footprint for some time and from 2023 we also measure Scope 3 in the main companies of our Group, which will enable us to outline a plan towards decarbonisation shortly.
Mobility plan
We have implemented a mobility plan to facilitate commuting and reduce its environmental impact by enhancing transportation efficiency.
