Danobatgroup will once again show its innovative and technological character at BIEMH 2024
  • The industrial group's co-operatives, Danobat and Soraluce, will showcase their latest advanced manufacturing solutions.
  • The stand will feature Soraluce's new SAD floor type milling machines on a fixed table, which will be performing live machining tests, as well as several demonstrations of the proven DAS and DWS intelligent active vibration damping technologies.
  • Danobatgroup's presence at the BIEMH 2024 will also reinforce its commitment to knowledge dissemination, highlight the role of women in the industrial field, and promote talent through various talks and the WorkINN job fair.

The industrial group Danobatgroup, a benchmark in advanced manufacturing, will be back prominently at the next International Machine Tool Biennial (BIEMH) 2024, held from 3 to 7 June at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) in Barakaldo (Bizkaia).

Stand C09, located in Hall 1, will be a clear example of its innovative and technological DNA, showing the manufacturing industry the latest solutions from the Danobat (and its subsidiaries, Hembrug and Overbeck) and Soraluce brands.

With solid expertise in grinding, turning, milling and boring technologies, the companies of the group lead the development of advanced machine tool solutions, specifically designed for the manufacture of high-added-value parts and adapted to the needs of manufacturers in strategic sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, railways, capital goods and power generation.

Danobat, 70 years of experience

On the one hand, Danobat, a manufacturer of high-added-value, technologically cutting-edge and customised solutions, with a track record of over 70 years, seizes this opportunity at the BIEMH 2024 to showcase its capabilities in the design and development of innovative equipment in the areas of grinding, ultra-precision turning and CNC robot machining systems, among others.

Firmly committed to innovation, the manufacturer has inaugurated a new 12,000-square-metre plant at its headquarters in Elgoibar to meet the growing order book in sectors such as aeronautics and wind power. The firm has also recently announced the acquisition of the US-based company Delta Wheel Truing Solutions to strengthen its position in the rail sector.

New Soraluce milling machine lines

On the other hand, at the BIEMH, Soraluce will exhibit its latest advanced solutions in milling, boring, multifunction and automation solutions, the result of innovative work, specialisation, growth, sustainability and and over 60 years of experience obtained in the sector.

The machine tool manufacturer's main innovations at the international trade fair are two new lines of milling machines: Dynamic Line, which consists of three models of high-gantry milling machines geared to aerospace, mould and die manufacturing or mechanical engineering applications, and the new Performance Line range, which offers the best ratio of reliability and precision with exceptional flexibility on medium to large-sized parts.

As an example of this second range of machines, Soraluce is exhibiting the new SAD40 floor type milling machines at the BIEMH, where live machining tests will be conducted, along with several demonstrations of its proven DAS and DWS smart active vibration damping technologies.

Knowledge, gender perspective and talent

Danobatgroup's presence will also reinforce commitment to knowledge dissemination, highlight the projection of women in the industrial field, and promote talent through various talks and the WorkINN job fair.

Nerea Aranguren, Director of Innovation and New Business Promotion of the industrial group, will take part in a round-table discussion in the context of Digital Talks on Tuesday, 4 June at 10:55 am, focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the manufacturing industry, alongside José Antonio Lorenzo, Data Area Manager at Lantek, and José Antonio Lozano, Innovation Sales Lead at Bravent.

The day before, on Monday 3 June, coinciding with the opening of the fair, Aranguren will also be one of the speakers at the Women In Industry event to address the challenges and opportunities of the gender perspective in technological development.

Danobatgroup will also participate in WORKinn Talent Hub. On 5 and 6 June, it will share its value proposition and unique business model with young students and job seekers, along with the latest job offers from the group and its companies Danobat, Soraluce and Goimek.
