GOIMEK IS EXHIBITING AT MIDEST 2018 EXHIBITION IN PARIS
The GOIMEK cooperative, which is part of the DANOBATGROUP and specialises in precision machining and large parts machining operations, will be exhibiting its capacities in Hall 1C Stand C68 at MIDEST 2018, one of the most important industrial subcontracting fairs in the world, which is held every year in Paris. The fair is very important for this business unit, as France is its natural export market due to its close proximity and type of service that it offers.
The fair will also be a good opportunity to reinforce its position on the French market, both in heavy and light machining. The company will exhibit its services, which offer high added value solutions at a competitive cost for demanding sectors (aerospace, wind energy and machine-tool, among others). GOIMEK’s light machining offer is characterised by the company´s specialisation in prototypes and short runs, knowledge and experience in the machining of complex materials such as titanium, inconel, stainless steel, etc. and its extensive experience in aluminium parts. As regards the company’s heavy-duty machining offer, noteworthy are the machining of large parts, its capacity to carry out short, medium and long production runs, and the potential to verify parts of up to 6 m in length in three dimensions. Moreover, the company´s experience and specialisation in machine-tool parts guarantees its capabilities as regards precision and compliance with delivery times.
At this fair, GOIMEK will also be exhibiting its new production capabilities thanks to the recent acquisition of a latest generation SORALUCE multitasking machine, the SORALUCE FS-16000. Thanks to this new investment, the cooperative will not only increase its current production capacity, but will strengthen its quality service for parts that require high precision. Furthermore, the investment has allowed its range of capabilities to be extended. It now offers turning operations, in addition to the usual operations at GOIMEK such as grinding and milling, a new technology not included up until now in the extensive range of machinery at the company.
The new multitasking machine allows various machining processes to be carried out, including turning, milling, boring, drilling and threading in a single machine for multiple components of different sizes and shapes with efficiency and precision.
GOIMEK´s extensive experience in the management of purchasing cast materials, metalwork, treatments, etc. allows it to offer an integrated service in all cases. This includes the management of the entire supply chain, from the purchase of the raw material to the machining of the part itself, as well as the thermal service treatment and painting to finish, and it also offers the verification and certification for the machined part.
