SORALUCE will welcome Patxi Lopez, president of the Basque Government, in its facilities

SORALUCE, leader in the design and manufacture of milling machines, milling&boring machines and advanced technology and high production milling centres will receive on the 25th of July the visit of President of the Basque Country, Patxi Lopez, in its facilities. Mr. López will preside the presentation ceremony of the HIPERION project, funded by the ETORGAI programme of the Basque Government. The President of the Basque Government will be accompanied by Bernabé Unda, Minister for Industry, Innovation, Trade and Tourism, Pedro Gomez Damborenea, Deputy Minister of Cabinet, planning and strategy, and Edorta Larrauri, Technology Director of the Basque Government.

The HYPERION project aims at positioning the Basque Machine Tool Consortium HYPERION as the first worldwide purchase option for large piece precision machines, as well as pulling the territory as a source of sustainable growth. The project has been leaded by SORALUCE with DANOBAT, ETXE-TAR, ZAYER and GORATU as partners. The ETORGAI program, funded by the Basque Government, supports the implementation of integrated research projects in strategic sectors and promotes public-private partnership in research, development and innovation, to boost the economy of the Basque Country, and help the involvement of SMEs in the Seventh Framework programme of the European Commission.
