DANOBATGROUP will be in London to present its scheme for professional development

DANOBATGROUP will be in London to present its scheme for professional development
  • The industrial group will have a strong presence in the Be Basque Talent forum to be held in London on 6 October
  • The session, promoted by the Vizcaya Provincial Council aims to expand awareness of the job opportunities in Basque companies

The industrial sector is immersed in a process of change that requires professional profiles which, as well as having substantial technical training, include other aptitudes, such as project management, foreseeing challenges in the future, and an international outlook.

This context makes it imperative to create networking spaces for companies generating jobs to contact people interested in working in the industrial manufacturing sector.

The Be Basque Talent forum is taking place in this scenario, a meeting in which the industrial group DANOBATGROUP will have a strong presence with its own stand, in addition to participating in talks and interviews organised in the event.

The forum, to be held on 6 October in London, aims to put Basque firms in contact with professionals currently working abroad and attract qualified talent to the Basque Country.

Organised by Bizkaia Talent, an initiative from the Vizcaya provincial council, the forum is also a space where companies can present their skills and plans for professional development.

"Our group is committed to developing talent and the personal growth of our team. We wish to publicise our business model, which is people-oriented, invests in innovation and has an international vocation", says the Social Management supervisor of the DANOBATGROUP, Iker Usabiaga.

In his opinion, taking part in events like Be Basque Talent is useful, because "there are currently people with very interesting profiles working abroad who can contribute not only highly specialised knowledge, but also a work culture and very enriching international orientation for our company".

Usabiaga points out that one of the objectives of participating in the forum is "to share the group´s short- and medium-term training needs, and set up initial contact to try and sign contracts, or get to know people with profiles that could fit in at a later date".

As well as its attendance in the exhibition hall for the second consecutive year at the forum, the group will take part in talks, interviews and other programmed activities in order to establish channels of communication with talent working abroad.

The DANOBATGROUP specialises in the manufacture of machine tools and technologically advanced production systems, and has a workforce of 1300 professionals.

The group offers the opportunity to take part in innovative projects carried out in international contexts, thus ensuring that the team of workers has excellent training and a high level of employability.
